24/7 Gym Access at Gammon Fitness Center will begin June 1, 2024!
Fort Knox Family and MWR announced that Gammon Fitness Center, a leading fitness facility dedicated to serving the military community at Fort Knox, is transitioning to 24/7 operations, starting June 1. This change aims to provide active-duty Soldiers, their families, and other authorized patrons with around-the-clock facility access that can accommodate the unique demands of military life. Starting May 20, authorized patrons may register for 24/7 access by visiting Gammon Fitness Center during regularly staffed hours.
Accessible Fitness Around the Clock
Recognizing the varied schedules of our military community, Gammon Fitness Center will be open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. "Our goal is to ensure that all members of our community have the flexibility to maintain their fitness routines, regardless of their work shifts or personal commitments," says Mark Maier, the Fort Knox Sports Fitness & Aquatics Director.
Safe and Secure Environment
With the expansion to 24/7 access, Gammon Fitness Center remains committed to providing a safe and secure environment. The gym is equipped with state-of-the-art security systems to ensure the safety of all patrons, at all times.
Register Early for 24/7 Access Starting May 20
Patrons interested in being granted 24/7 access are required to register, with staff, in person at Gammon Fitness Center during regular business hours. The registration process is free, fast, and easy and can be completed during normally staffed hours beginning May 20. "We are thrilled to offer expanded hours at Gammon; we understand that accessibility to our equipment is an
important part of the Army readiness, that’s why fully supporting the health and wellness of our Soldiers matters," adds Maier.
Engagement Beyond Fitness
In addition to 24/7 gym access, Gammon Fitness Center will continue to offer a range of programs and services designed to support the physical and mental well-being of its members, including fitness classes, wellness workshops, and personal training sessions.
